In week eight of school we are going to have a gala. We need money in order to get tokens, tokens are worth one new zealand dollar so if you gave thje office 10 dollars that is ten tokens.

We did questions of the gala to see what is ideal. For example on the 22 it is suposed be windy and everybody is going to be at our school so it is more ideal to have the gala on the 22.

Next we had to work out how many people wanted kapa haka stuff, books for library, computer equipment, sports equipment and a trip to wellington.

Coming first was (drum roll) boks for library with 52 votes! Next coming in second was (drum roll) kapa haka with 50 votes! Finally coming in third (drum roll) tie between computer equpment and sport equipment with 39 vote who would’ve thought.

This is my school gala questions (wall of LS1 hasn’t finished we only needed to go to slide 8 for now) here are my slides.

I enjoyed working the math out.

I need to improve on my reading (not pronounciation).

I was good at working out the math (I excel at math)

I learned what perimetre means and I learned about measuring.

First we had to measure the school field.

Next we had to calculate the amount of meters were on the corners sides and top of the field the left and right side of the field is 90m and the top and bottom of the field was 64 meters and the corners were twenty meters.

I enjoyed this activity because I got to learn about measuring. I need to inprove on not making as much spelling mistakes. I did well on the calculations.
